Marc's New Internet Obsession
Webcam in Africa that streams action from a watering hole 24 hours a day!
You get all the nature noises and you can see monkeys, caribou, elephants, the occasional mating scene, and sometimes a lion ripping apart a gazelle.

You start watching and you just can't stop.
It's very beautiful.
Even so, you do expect something to jump out and attack.

I checked the site a couple times today and really enjoyed it. I loved listening to the sounds. Saw some shooting stars and something came to water after dark.
Also listen to you guys on the Web all day. Now I can bring you from my car to my office.

I watched at the office today. We didn't have sound there but we did manage to see quite a few animals! Elephants, hyena, wildebeest, boar, and impala. It was awesome!!! Thanks for putting the link up!

Marc,
My eight year old son and I were watching the waterhole webcam and thought nothing would happen. After about 25 minutes we heard a growl and I told my son it sounded like a lion or tiger.
Then we could see the side of it’s head drinking water and to our surprise the lion walked directly in front of camera and we saw a great picture of the lion for about 30 seconds.
Thanks for letting us know about this….my son and I will watch it again!
Love the morning show…keep up the good work!

Hey Mark...
Watched last night and around 8:45 something (LION, Tiger, GORILLA) was growling very loudly! It was so cool. Also the little bugs and things that go flying over the water caught by the camera light. Very cool! The sounds... are very nice and relaxing! Funny how the weather never changes! No high winds to knock out power lines either!

I noticed all of the SOUNDS in the background went off.... and checked it out tonight at 10:30. The view has changed. No longer "THE WATERING HOLE". Good for conversation!

At around 10:30 last night they changed the watering hole site to something else. Guess it's at the discretion of the Videographer! HUH? I think Kim was right, but they are "looking for action"! What's going on????

I saw some ZEBRA last night around 11:40... Very cool!

Hey Mark...
Sunday around 11:00 I saw some Wildebeasts, a few Impala, a Chimpanzee or Baboon may have been a small gorilla, and some gazelle all around the watering hole at the same time. That was very cool!

Hey Marc
The watering hole is much better than the insect hole. Can we get this webcam changed back?
Thanks

Marc and Kim,
For those who question the authenticity of this site, they can find it under www.africam.com/#. This webcam is in South Africa and is part of the Nkorho Stream area. Nkorho Pan is a natural water hole in the prestigious Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, in South Africa.

I have to say , it is boring at first and then you think you see something, ....is that something in the far off distance and then you wait for it to get closer and closer...you still see the movement..and before you know it a damn hour has passed because you are still trying to see what it is. I love it , it is very calming and peaceful and I love the excitement of what you may see!!! I love you guys, Thanks.

Just wanted to let you know that watching the waterhole is very addicting. Me and another girl here at our office can watch all day. It is just so cool, and it is great to be able to share this with everyone. We didn't have any speakers here, so we brought in our own, so we could listen. Thanks alot, this is great

Haha....it makes me wish I could TVO it when I leave the computer in case something happens while I'm away. Well, thanks for the obsession!

Hey Mark,
I heard you discuss this cam on your morning show. A friend sent me the URL. It is great! On my first viewing I saw lots of Gazelle and heard all kind of sounds; it is almost unreal. My connection is slow, so I didn't see much action video. Thanks for sharing.
